WIRE โ€” FDH Bank Premiership side Goshen City Dedza Dynamos have appointed Lazarus 'Deco' Nyemera and Luke 'Bruno' Milanzi as interim coaches. This follows the suspension of head coach Alex Ngwira alongside his assistant Christopher Zinyongo, strikers' trainer Jimmy Zakazaka and goalkeepers' coach Charles Sikwewa due to the team's poor performance in the FDH Bank Premiership. In an interview Tuesday, Dedza General Secretary Mabvuto Mgode said Nyemera would be in charge of the team alongside Milanzi. "The two coaches will be in charge of the team as we are reviewing the technical panel setup. We believe Milanzi and Nyemera have the capacity to lead the team while we undertake other processes," Mgode said. Nyemera and Milanzi will be in the dugout as Dedza host Mighty Wanderers in the FDH Bank Premiership at Dedza Stadium this coming Sunday. Milanzi was assistant coach to Andrew Bunya but was demoted to the reserve team following the hiring of Ngwira last year. Nyemera, on the other hand, was one of the assistants to Ngwira. In a statement released Tuesday, the club confirmed the suspension of Ngwira and other three coaches. "During the suspension period, the coaches have been directed to refrain from all coaching, training, match day and official club-related duties unless specifically authorised by the club," the statement reads. Ngwira, who was initially given a threematch ultimatum, said he was not surprised with the suspension. "It is part of our job. I accept the decision by the club. I will not make further comments," he said. Dedza anchor the log table with four points from seven matches. The team lost 3-0 to Mafco at Chitowe Stadium on Sunday.
