We have world heart day on 27th Sept. But our heart is something whoes care can not be left just on one day. Today while reading newspaper I found that if we follow some common precautions we can make our heart strong and can servive long last. Below are some of the tips which I found in newspaper can be easily followed.
- We should always take care of our stomach size, it should not be more than 35 for men and 32 for women.
- Blood pressure should always be less than 120/80 and bad cholesterol should be less than 100.
- Do not let any one smoke in front of you.
- Diet should always be taken care of. Always eat seasonal fruits, take small meals more then 3 times a day. take high fiber, low refine in your food.
- High carbohydrate vegetables should be taken in food.
- Exercise is must if you want your heart healthy, In a day you should walk at least 1 KM and 20 Min jogging should be there in your routine.
- Avoid junk food.
- Try to concentrate your mind or do meditation, this is also known as pradayam
