World Heart Day on 27 September

We have world heart day on 27th Sept. But our heart is something whoes care can not be left just on one day.  Today while reading newspaper I found that if we follow some common precautions we can make our heart strong and can servive long last. Below are some of the tips which I found in newspaper can be easily followed.

  1. We should always take care of our stomach size, it should not be more than 35 for men and 32 for women.
  2. Blood pressure should always be less than 120/80 and bad cholesterol should be less than 100.
  3. Do not let any one smoke in front of you.
  4. Diet should always be taken care of. Always eat seasonal fruits, take small meals more then 3 times a day. take high fiber, low refine in your food.
  5. High carbohydrate vegetables should be taken in food.
  6. Exercise is must if you want your heart healthy, In a day you should walk at least 1 KM and 20 Min jogging should be there in your routine.
  7. Avoid junk food.
  8. Try to concentrate your mind or do meditation, this is also known as pradayam
