Beta version of Microsoft Windows 7 is now available for Free Download! But only first 2.5 million people will get the chance. (Download latest windows7 Wallpaper)

In his CES keynote speech hours ago, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer officially announced that the Windows 7 is now available as a Beta test version for free download.

Microsoft also says,”However, because Microsoft isn’t providing technical support for the Beta, we strongly recommend that only experienced computer users sign up. How experienced? At minimum, you should be comfortable backing up a computer, formatting a hard drive, burning an ISO file to DVD, and installing an operating system from scratch. You should also be comfortable troubleshooting problems on your own.”

Whats new on the Final Release of Windows 7
The new Windows 7 is going be to be fully upgraded with the goal of being fully well-suited with existing device drivers, applications, and hardware. Microsoft has focused on multi-touch support, a redesigned Windows Shell with a brand new taskbar, a new home networking system called Home Group and performance improvements.

But some features that have been included with the previous version of Windows 7 such as Windows Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Calendar, Windows mail are no longer included with new release of Windows 7. These features will be available for free as separate applications.
